We found out the week of Thanksgiving that Nyle would be going to Pakistan. Yes, after being in the military 13 years, and never having to deploy, it finally happened. It totally stinks that he'll be gone for the holidays, but like most other military families, we all have to make our sacrifices. We've been so lucky so far!!
